Pressure Transmitters: TDK Launches Rugged Differential Pressure Transmitters for Industrial Applications

TDK Group (Tokyo: 6762) expands the MiniCell™ product portfolio with the introduction of a new differential pressure transmitter with a rugged stainless steel housing, the B58622M32* series, for industrial applications. The new range of elements is available in five models with a measuring range of 0 – 500 mbar to 0 – 10 bar, a compensated temperature range of -20°C to +140°C, and dimensions of 57 x 34 x 39 mm (including various interface).

A highlight of the new element is that it is resistant to a wide range of media, and its two pressure ports are equipped with high-quality AISI 316L stainless steel alloy diaphragms that transmit pressure to the sensor chip via an oil-filled, media-isolated sensor cell. This avoids direct contact of the sensor chip with the medium, allowing the sensor to measure the pressure of corrosive liquids and gases.

The new pressure transmitters are compact, with two G 1/8″ size pressure ports and M12 plugs for electrical connection. The housing is IP67 rated and can be screwed directly in any position, which is easy and does not affect the Measurement accuracy. Does not affect measurement accuracy. Transmitter has integrated signal conditioning to provide a calibrated analog output signal of 0.5 V to 4.5 V with high immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI).
